FERRARI ENZO

The only thing I'm certain about 135263 is the car was registered in Spain in 25th March, 2003. It was definitely later registered in the United Kingdom, but honestly I know not much more about its history.

I enquired by email today, when I read your post that it was originally a UK car, because I didn't think it was correct and the UK licensing authority shows it as first registered here beginning 2007 (and Jorge above confirms that it was registered in Spain prior to being registered in the UK). I received an answer back by email. The information will have come from Factory (not UK) records. I haven't seen the warranty booklet.

As an aside, I believe (although stand to be corrected) that the records for the UK importer, Maranello Concessionaires, no longer exist for the few years prior to FNE taking over (circa 1999-2003 from memory) as they were all on computer and that computer system was decommissioned when Maranello's lost the importing.

 

It was registered in the UK 8 January 2007 and exported from the UK in about February 2015.

 

Wild exhaust. I seem to remember photos of this car parked on PCH but can’t find them anywhere. Posted by @traplordwhips on IG but certainly not taken by them.

Almost 13 years after Fernando Alonso purchased it, today chassis 129761 (Assembly Number: 47205) has finally been seen with Spanish plates at Scuderia Monte Carlo.

If my information is correct it was delivered new to a Argentinian businessman.

Yes, his LAF was parked 3 meters away.
Its probably going to get registered in Monaco though, his LAF is in the process of getting registered there.

I've been told its getting auctioned off on June 6th by "Monaco Car Auctions", it has 4800km. (I'm not 100% sure if its 129761 though)

Confirmed, its Alonso's Enzo that's coming up for auction.

 

Owning Alonzo's Enzo would be cool. But too much of a pain in the ass to bring it to the states and actually drive it, no?

Surprised he bought a red one. Racers usually like black.

 

Would you pay more vs. an identical Enzo owned by an anonymous individual? I would not.
