Just to support the OPs offering - and not affiliated in any way - I can tell you that I spent from 2011 to recently just trying to find the OWNERS MANUAL for a 1995 F355 - much less the entire set with the leather binder. I had to go to the Netherlands to find it and wait over a month for it to get here. This is a phenomenal find and anyone with a 1996 (looks like) US-Spec (yes?) F355 Berlinetta or GTS that is missing anything OR just wants a spare set should jump at this - believe me if this was for a 1995 and I had not already completed the set he would already have my money TO THE OP - You might want to snap and upload a picture of the last page of the manual that shows the Codice # and MY print edition - (mine is 882/94) - That is important for a prospective buyer. GLWS - Maybe I will go find a 1996 F355 - the car is easier to find than the manuals Cheers!
Are there stamps from the dealer in the manual? Anything identifying the original car it came from? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Mine has a warranty/service card booklet with stamps but that is separate from the owners manual- OP would have to respond on this. Cheers
Sorry guys, was a 96' F355, you can see on one of the covers is states 1996 so it is a obdii car. US Spec
Thanks for clarifying- I called that out in post #2 as well- As mentioned you might want to post the comics # and MY numbers as well. Cheers
I think the F1 had a different manual than the gated. Can you tell which one it’s for. It’s probably gonna need to be sold to an owner of a ‘96. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
It was a Gated. OK, so it is good for ALL models in 1996. The M.Y. is 1996. This is for gated, as stated.
However, if anyone simply wanted to have the book and the lot.. these care are all very similar post 1996, gated.
did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed? that's an uncalled for response to what was a very reasonable suggestion.
...posting the VIN is legwork? Takes one minute. This thread will come up if anyone searches that VIN on Google. You sound like a real winner.
So someone with an item for sale, should post the vin, wait for the potential owner of such vehicle to do a Google search, find this thread, create an account and wait to hear from such person to potentially buy these? Lol If it’s such a logical thing to do, and wait on, why not take the reins yourself? No one is grumpy, I’d say the OP just wants to sell his stuff. I’m ok with winner, beats delusional.
To be clear, the only place that there is PID for the car, is in the service manual. Everything else I have is simply for a 96' GATED car.
I think you misunderstand...my suggestion wasn't to wait for that specific buyer. That would be asinine. But posting the VIN could help someone locate their original books in the future...at which point if they wanted to they could contact the buyer through the forum, possibly trade or negotiate. Take 1 minute, and could make someone very happy in the future. This is a community where we help each other I thought...
The issue with my original manual was water damage - I took it to several book stores and was referred to a person who did reconditioning of old books - FWIW he said the type and age of paper and the fact that the pages were stuck together were not repairable - as well as the fact it happened a long time ago - he seemed to know what he was talking about and spent quite a bit of time with me so don't think he was a hack - never know though - I would imagine if it was caught quickly the damage could be minimized but if as in my case it happened a long time ago and the pages had been stuck and then dried that way it is most likely not salvageable. Just my experience FWIW -
