Well guys I finally went through with it and listed my 355 up on Ebay. Its a sad day. 1997 Ferrari 355 F355 | eBay Image Unavailable, Please Login
Speedlines look great on it. Can you please post photos of the paint chips? You can't see them at all in the photos. Cheers
Thanks guys. I hope it goes to someone who can spend a little time on it and get it into prime shape. With the mounting medical bills and continued issues with my back I decided this was for the best. Pain killers will only get me so far so I have to be pretty selective with what I spend my time on so I just haven't gotten the things done on this car I've wanted to. I'm kind of hard on it in the description, but I think if more sellers were upfront about things it would be best. I'm going to get some more pictures added to the auction today on the interior and engine bay. Also the ugly of the front bumper and paint chips.
Thank you. There seems to be a few people interested but nothing is starting to solidify yet. Hopefully it goes to a good home sooner then later.
No it hasn't. I was in negotiations with a buyer that really wants it but he is not going to be able to come through with the money. I plan to relist it tonight. It will have a starting bid of $44k with no reserve. If it does not sell this go around I will just start fixing it up and sell it all done up for (hopefully) a lot more.
Here it is. I'm going to start a seperate thread for he new auction too. Anyone has any questions please just ask. Thanks Ferrari 355 F355 | eBay
Nice if I did not already have one ...... Thinking of a way to justify two in the garage. Appreciate your honesty on current issues, but this is still a very good deal for someone. GLWS
I agree. If I could Live with a Spider I would buy this in a heartbeat. Unfortunately for me I need a TB/TS
A few more questions for you. How many years have you owned it? Do you have the original steering wheel? Why did you replace the steering wheel? How far back to you have service records for the car?
I've owned the car 4 years. I send the original steering wheel to MACarbon as a core exchange. I changed it because the carbon fiber one is beautiful. As it says in the auction the dealership I bought it from really screwed me over losing the books and records. I found pictures of it at the auction that the dealership bought it from and it was all present, so they got them but they never made it to me. I have some receipts for like brake rotors, ebrake parts, etc etc. From work I did.
Free shipping with the buy it now of $50k. BIN will also include a OEM car cover, silicon air and water hoses, suspension bushings and tie rod ends, and whatever else I have gathered up for the car. Not that it needs the suspension rebuilt, I was just going to do it at 40k miles for the heck of it.
