It still can cost 425000 to repair...that is why it was an insurance write off and the guy could buy it cheap. The frame got straightened in Italy as only there were people who had the chassis rigs, the rear subframe replaced and the owner/repairer mentions that many parts were not as expensive as he thought because a lot of used parts are available from cars that got converted for racing.

You guys realize this has been on the Net for a couple years now....been posted here repeatedly. But agree, it is an amazing pictorial....and more importantly, raising a car back up from the ashes!

The woman in the background shots is hot too.... ;)

wow, wouldn't wanna be that guy. It makes me almost cry when I see such cars get demolished. Lol. Check out this sight for a bunch of wrecked exotics, mostly Ferraris. There are even a couple of Enzos, F50's, F40's, and 288 GTO's in there. http://www.wreckedexotics.com/

I know this guy - his name is christian. I also know his car.
It is the best F40 in Quality which I ever saw.

He rebuilt this F40 with the German view and toroughness. It is THE PERFECT F40.
