Ferrari F40 ZFFMAN34A0L0086438, the 39th USA F40 built by Ferrari SpA in July 1990. Red with red seats. Original flawless paint with original unblemished standard seats (replaced by red OEM units for driving whilst the originals are preserved as shown below). Original steering wheel and shift knob also preserved and present. 6,200 miles. Tubi cats delete with Tubi Sports exhaust, original factory exhaust and cats are with the car. $17,000 major engine-out service performed at local authorized Ferrari dealer about 200 miles and 2 seasons ago. All deferred maintenance brought up to date. Fresh Michelin Pilot Sports fitted. Scrupulously maintained & detailed, this F40 is garaged in a climate-controlled room as shown below. As indicated by the miles covered in the last 2 years, the car is rarely driven and the current owner desires that it goes to a home where it will be enjoyed more often. The car's owner has today authorized me to clarify that this car can only be purchased in a private sale via myself, and any representations by other parties are not a means to purchase this car. I have personally known this car for several years, and have personally put hands & eyes on her in several careful inspections. The car is local to me, 10 minutes away. All images posted below were taken by myself at the owner's home, are strictly copyright to Joe Sackey Classics LLC, and are not to be used for any other purpose other than viewing to develop interest in the aforementioned vehicle. This F40 is in my estimation the very best car available in the country for a very fair market price. All principal interested parties please contact me directly via e-mail below. Correct, yes it is. One of the best in the land. I had the pleasure of following it around Laguna Seca 3 years ago in my own, at the FNA 20th anniversary Reunion.
Joe, I wish you and the owner the best of luck with the sale. If any potential buyer's do contact me from this point I will be glad to send them along. If you or any perspective buyer's would like to see the inspection on this car I had performed by Ferrari, please let me know and I will be happy to send it along as well. Thank you, JP
Judging from the pics and the owner, I won't disagree with you. Absolutely stunning F40 you have there Jeff.
I'm sorry to see Jeffrey is letting his F40 go but I'm sure it will be replaced by something just as special. Good luck with the sale.
As noted above: "As indicated by the miles covered in the last 2 years (circa 200 +), the car is rarely driven and the current owner desires that it goes to a home where it will be enjoyed more often".
So beautiful. I wish I were at a later stage of life when buying this would make sense. Good luck with the sale and I look forward to seeing what comes next.
Looks simply superb, quality of the pictures complements what looks to be surely one of the best F40's I have ever seen posted on here.
But truly, and I am not exaggerating just for purposes of a sale as the truth always speaks for itself, pics do not do it justice. At this rate of interest it will be gone soon.
Of all the pics I've seen of his car I always knew it was clean, but mother of god that is beyond perfection.
Why sell it?? I could swear I read somewhere (maybe in the garage thread) that the space reserved in the garage was to be used for an Enzo and a 288 so he had all 4. Maybe he was just kidding around. Anyway, great looking car
He has previously commented that he thought the F50's gearbox was smoother than the F40. I'm just guessing here, but I'll bet the F50 is staying.
