    Hi everyone,

    I am knew to the forum and i am in a posting mode frenzy. Now just a quck question because someone told me this and I am curious to know.

    At Idle, does the Ferrari F40 engine put out 85dB sound? For sure this is a bit loud but I am curious to know. If I was passed on wrong information then please let me know. Anyone here own a F40?

    Welcome - You'll get better responses and more of them if you fill out your profile, share as little or as much as you are comfortable sharing. Did you try to Search on F40 ? .... a lot of information there. Have you looked through the Super Ferraris forum?

    never took a dB meter to mine (sold it earlier this year). at idle, it's no louder than an average sports car with stock exhaust. at 8500... that's another issue.

    haven't checked but I suspect mines prolly pushin 85. in stock form I'd guess < 85?
