I saw the 1/8 before in Morry's showroom, I believe there's no openings.

I assume 1/5 is the same.

Most large scale models do not have opening parts, and are built 'curbside'. That being said, you can see the engine and interior detail. These are very visible considering the size of these models - 2 and 3 feet long.

I'm getting confused about these sizes, I have lots of 1:18 models, is the smaller number after the 1:, meaning it is a bigger model

Yes. For example, a 1:5 model is HUGE.

easy way to work it out is 1:1 is full size, 1:18 means 18 of these in a row is the same length as full size, 1:5 needs 5 to be the same length

Hmm, I think on that BBR F430 they need to change the tyres, the speckles in the paint, the interior (i.e. more CF) and the brakes. Apart from that, looks good.

Wow...I dunno where you're getting you're 1:18 models at, but I pay $10 bucks at Costco, it's Maisto, but its still nice. I got a Murcielago, Viper, Hummer H1 and H2, and a little more.

Does anyone have "more" info on this new 1:18 scale F430's Ferraris from BBR other then already posted? My BBR distributor contact; told me that there is NO future releases of new F-cars including the F430’s versions from BBR this year other then what’s already coming out up to December of 06. So the big question is, "why is BBR advertising" the F430's on this Asian website already?

    http://www.minicarshop.jp/report/shobby45/bbr.html

If anyone who can shine a little information on this future release, where’re all ears.

    Thx
    Rob

You won't find any Ferraris at Costco, though...
