    Hi there,

As far as i know the f50 1/18 model is made by Maisto,Bburago and i think Hotwheels as well they are not so scare here in Holland and you can get them for prices between 10 - 25 euro i believe. But if you friend loves the F50 so much do the logical thing like i did buy the 1/12 Tamiya F50

Just wait for the new 1/18 Hotwheels Elite version to be released in October. It should be much better than anything else currently available in 1/18th scale.

Mattel has a whole new line of Ferraris being release this year under their new Elite series as many of us already know. The Ferrari F50 is among one of the Ferraris to be released.

There is nothing wrong with buying an older Burago, Maisto, or Hotwheels version of it if you don't want to spend $50 - $75 for the Elite version. But like you said, they can be scarce.

I think it will be even nicer if you get your friend a 1/12 Ferrari F50 made by Tamiya, I'm sure he will be the happiest man on earth!!! :)
