    That was awful when Art stuffed the F50 GT1, I was nearby & heard an engine overrevving awfully & ran to the wall. I felt sick to my stomach when I saw it, what a shame.

    Watkins Glen & many other tracks have started using giant styrofoam blocks to line their cement retaining walls. If Laguna had done this the damage would have been much less for Art.

    I was talking to Art 20 minutes before the wreck & he told me he just got the car back 4 days before from Ferrari in Italy where they had it for 1 1/2 years fixing it from the last wreck

    I guess exploding my trans in my 512TR doesnt seem so bad now

    The damage was actually pretty minor - they only need to replace the body panels and the car should be as good as new.

    William - I got some pretty good photos of your car as well.
