Agree 100% I wish they would have raced it at LeMans or in the GT series. Unfortunately the factory is only interested in F1 for the time being.

 

1000+hp ??? Where did you read this ?

 

after chassis 001 was crashed twice,it was making a "little more" than 1000 to the rear wheels after rebuild..its a well known fact,ask around.

What is the value of the remaining GTs since we rarely (if ever) see them for sale?

 

F50 GT 1 in all it's splendor. By the look of things, the interior has been completely rebuilt and now boasts a modern steering wheel and flappy padels instead of the fated shifter. Plus, as we all know, this one pumps up around 1000 horsepower.



This and the McLaren F1 LM are the best cars in the history of mankind.
I only wish this also had a central driving position.

 

The value is probably whatever the three current owners want. 001 being the most unique and first of the three gives that particular owner even more of an upper hand. Apparently he declined over 20m for 001 in Sept 2019. Who knows how much it would take to get him to sell...probably no amount at that point. i'd personally like the owner to have it benchmarked, let some journalists drive it etc etc

that would satisfy my curisoity

 

Im guessing 001 is worth significantly more than 002 and 003?

 

Not a good idea if journalists drive such a car. Remember the case with that Porsche 917 and David Piper and the subsequent law suits?

we'll never know how it is to drive in that case then. it's almost a waste really, the car is such a mystery.

It should be since it's a lot faster and boasts a cooler, more modern interior.

 

More modern interior? How so? I know 003 got cockpit upgrades...namely dash display and paddle shifters. I'm not sure how much more modern 001 would be than 003.

 

I never knew 003 also got upgrades. I meant more modern compared to the original
