    Does anybody around here own a Ferrari F50? I have been to many car enthusiast events in the past few years and have never seen one show up. Are they just too rare?

    In over ten years of Ferrari shows, events, etc... I've only ever seen one of them, it was at the FCA/Boardwalk annual vacant lot next door show (sorry, I forgot what it was called! :) )

    There was one at Cars and Coffee Dallas back in 2009... it was also at RAC Performance's show in 2010 and I saw the same car out and about (Preston and NW Hwy) a few months later: Ferrari F50 | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

    there was a member here in town who had one and he'd show up at events every once in a while but not sure he still has it...last time I saw it was at one of our breakfast meetings and that was a while ago (at least a year).

    The one the snapshot posted a picture of showed up to C&C in Dec 2012

    There is at least 1 F50 in Dallas that I know of for sure. There might be more but I am not sure.

    The red F50 that was C&C and RAC belongs to an infrequent FChat user, but he's still around. He came to an F1 watch party a few months ago on his birthday. I think he still has the car.

    I know who you are talking about.

    Last I checked he still had it. He didn't sound like he wanted to sell either.

    He's one of the nicest guys I've had the pleasure of meeting. Great ambassador for the brand and a true enthusiast.

    there were less f50's made then enzos and far less then f40's

    A black one from Louisiana used to make it to Franco's Ferrari Festival, IIRC it has been sold.
