*LOL* That's one of the drawbacks of owning a car with low production numbers. What did Ferrari say about it anyway? Since it is made of glass, maybe a glass company can fabricate something for you, did you look into that possibility already?

ouch! At £380 for a fog light unit on a 348 I can only hazzard a guess at the damage that is going to do to your wallet.

I know it is a long shot but how about Eurospares - 01787 477169.

How much do Ferrari want for one?

I've never looked at the glass cover on the 512M lights, but there is a possibility you can make it out of Lexan. I have heated it in an oven and shaped over a mold for the landing light cover on the leading edge of an airplane wing. Just a thought if you can't find the glass lens. Lexan is very tough; much tougher than plexiglass.

These fine gentlemen can make you a replacement for somewhere under $200 I'd guess: http://www.safelite.com/

You'll have to get them to visit a 512 owner here in the States such as F-chat poster William H, and then have that F-chatter mail it to you.

They'll go on-site to the F-chatter, use his car for the specs, and fabricate your glass replacement in short order. F-chatter HuskerNtexas has used them previously.

    Steve,
The F40 has glass lenses in the front. The assemblies were about $1300. There are defogger wires in it also. We made a piece out of lexan and replaced both sides. Glued some copper strips in it and you really can't tell the difference. We figures if we break one we will break another. The lexan is tough and easy to replace....

You can come off of suicide watch now, O.K.?

    Your interior Rocks!

    Rick
