Cool many thanks. So all the carbon are extras. In my position great. Don't want the carbon or alcantara. Look forward to seeing the configurator. Hold my 488 GTB and then order just before they close the orders and order it 100% like my 488 GTB. Curious also on the wheels . They are the forge line. Wonder whether the STD look better. As I have the STD wheels on my 488 GTB as I preferred them over the forged ones. Again IMO 5 spoke wheels look sexier and balanced on cars.
You could only hope they have another optioned forged wheel to choose from other than these retro looking wheels. These look to be too much of a throwback from a by-gone era and while they look ok they don't really compliment the modern lines of the car as say a less fussier straight 5 or multispoke wheel would.
Nice to see Ferrari has "fixed" the inner door grab handles on both driver and passenger sides, unlike with the 488 .
Agreed not flattering. But if the photo is clear, of the actual car and not retouched how can it not be telling you what it actually looks like? Given those assumptions it is what it is. I sometimes take unflattering photos of things as well. Its usually because I don't know how to make the image flattering. Unless, of course, I am one of those "people on the internet not visually sophisticated enough to digest its aesthetic and accept it as a homogeneous reality".
True. I know a lot of you will think I'm crazy but trunk is important to me. I use my cars and travel with them. The biggest issue with Huracan was the trunk space. 488 has a perfect trunk and, for me, a smaller one is an issue.
Just back from a 10 drive in 488 and needed every bit of space it had. F8 would have been a problem - same with Pista....and no glovebox even! The S duct has removed valuable storage which bodes for further compromise when going on those longer runs.

just back from a day at the Geneva show. In person the car is very nice and works well. I particularly like the small changes to the cabin and the controls. Seems more "together". Those concerned with boot space - I dont think the loss of boot space is as bad as the Pista as the S-Duct is smaller and less of an issue. All in all a very nice update to the 488 and as far as I am aware (please don't take this as true) the price increase is not too large over a 488.
This image sells it for me, not that I can afford one, can't explain why but in this picture in particular it looks awesome to me.
Apart from the questionable wheels (but fortunately there will certainly be other options), it looks far better in reality than in pictures. As mentioned the trunk seems very small, not only with the S-duct but I've also the feeling it's narrower than on the 488 (I may need to double check though). I was also told first deliveries Q1 2020, probably Q2 2020 if ordering now.
