What do you mean? Then the model run is over?

Is that from a dealer or "Ferrari Germany" as an organization?
Coming from a dealer, I would assume they put a limit in the backlog they are willing to manage - that would be an explanation, the other one (unlikely for me) being that the F8 is already sold out...

Ferrari is sticking with the same 458 look way too long. It's getting old. Need a new design. Is the F8 the new 488 for the next 4 to 5 yrs?

I think between 488,Pista .F8, SF90 the F8 is overall nicest design particularly at the rear end.

Shame it doesn't have the new interior of the SF90 which is quite something. Maybe LB will will be something along these lines?

All - I heard from my dealer the F8 is only a 2 year run. It’s going to be quick.

I hope they are wrong. If true, that car will begin the steep depreciation curve before some get their cars. That also implies the little brother will be introduced earlier than anticipated

Or it may hold value better cause it’s the last non hybrid V8 from Ferrari.

Seems likely to me, depending on how time is considered. The F8 was unveiled at Geneva (March 2019) but apparently deliveries will not start before 2020 - maybe to make room for the last Pista, production of the F8 will not start before 2020, making the first deliveries almost one year after the reveal. So two years of actual production will lead to early 2022, and I can't see the F8 go significantly beyond that to be honest. It's a revamped 488 after all. The successor will be the V6 though, so the F8 will be the last "affordable" (so to speak) V8.

Could be. I would be uninterested in a hybrid. Seems too complicated, heavy. But they may do electric powered turbos.

The 458 may end up being the best liked of the daily driver 2 seaters for its mechanical simplicity and lower cost although I think the F8 is the best looking version.

Do you really need to spend $300K more for 1 sec faster 0-60 in the SF90?

Of course not. It’s not about performance cause they are all basically high performance cars. It’s about having the latest and greatest and bragging right.

With a two year run the car will hold its value. Not many of them will get produced. I already put a deposit down but estimated for 18 months out. I’m fine with that as I just got a Portofino.

I’m afraid with the accelerated model introductions going forward no regular production Fcars will hold value as they once did. LE cars may be able to hold their value but even that market is beginning to soften as well.

Reality (as far as I feel) is that Ferrari models "hold value" better whenever there's a speculative bubble - the fact there has been one recently (2014-2016) should not hide that it was not a regular situation of the past, nor that it could happen again.

There are many out there , no me though. Last car without electrics for me. Ild bet as its happened now they continued making 488 spyders even while making Pista's the same will happen with the F8 .

But IF I was a betting man my money would be on a F8 Aperta limited last Hooray.

The Spider is due to be launched in September, will be interesting to see if it really will be the last of the non hybrid Ferrari,or a Special Aperta to follow?

Today I got the message, the new SP90 is only available until friday in Germany. Ferrari close the books, not the dealer. And during this talk, they told me, the F8 orders will close soon. So I think, they will built the F8 maximal 2 years. About Spider I dont ask.

Cant see that happening IMO. And if it is great way to get sales with the ever looming real possibility of a market crash happening soon.

Received the same message that ordering will be closed soon due to the short production run of the F8 as a ‘fill car’ before the new emission and safety rules set in in 2022.

Yeah what a load of bollocks. The only logical reason to stop SF90 production would be knowing they have run out of victims.
