    I was just wondering if anybody else has a letter of this type, from the office of the production car plant manager. Was this standard operating procedure or a rare occurence? The letter was sent to the original owner of my 308, who purchased the car through Chinetti in New York.

    First of all - very cool letter. Funny how little grammar mistakes make it sound sooo Italian!
    Second, I have no idea whether this was standard or not, but I sure hope it was.
