    Hi Mark,
here you go for part 2:
    http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52309

But at least its still a resonable price for the tour. Its including the Planet Hotel (straight across the factory entry) dinner, breakfast lunch....

The F1 race prices are from another Planet:D
    ;)

    I don't get it!

I had a beautiful hotel in the Tuscan hills. That costed me 150 euro. The tour was for free and the visit of the Galleria was 10 euro. We had a great lunch and also visited the shop.

Why do this organised for top money?

    Ton,
yes, it realy seems like you don`t get it :(

Yes, the factory tour is free......and the hotel prices, lunch etc. is usual cheap.
The offer is from the owners site = FERRARI S.p.a!!!!!!

NO, its NOT a bargain! Same with the F1 visit for 15K!!!!!

I`m just curious if there is realy somebody who is willing to go and pay this big bill for so little fun.?!

I guess we must fall into that category as YES we are willing to go and pay the "big bill" but we anticipate it to be MUCHO fun! - we paid for the owner's tour last October which was well worth the 621,00 Euro for both of us and yes, we have just paid the 2246,00 Euro for both of us for the test day (which includes many things and isn't nearly close to 15K), and yes, we are going back to Italy in less than a week for our "scheduled FREE tour arranged by FoH last summer" and the San Marino GP. Our "paid" factory tour in October was much more intensive than what is offered for the free tour. We were the only people from the US, quite a few were from the UK and several from Italy (it was a rather large group).

    Dear Carol,

sorry, please NO offence taken, I didn`t wanted to bother you.
Thats something total different - you are coming all the way over from Texas!!!! For sure its an expensieve trip which should be well organized by a prof. agenture. Thats why its getting so expensive.
I have been talking about europeans (thats why I haven`t posted it in the GD section!)
For us, its just a short weekend trip and a 7 hours drive to go to Maranello.
I have been lots of time in Maranello; just driving down on Thursday and back on Friday. The entry/tour is always free and I do know lots of gents from the factory. Dinner in Cavallino or by Mama Rosella (Montana) is just 50,- Euro incl. wine and a 5 (gear) menu. There are also some better and much cheaper hotels with secure parking around Maranello...up the hills and just 10 minutes to drive.
Once again sorry and my apologize for my "stupid bill....bla" comment, I have to clarify it again: "Its too much money for somebody who lives in Europe and could drive direct to the factory for 1 or 2 days trip - For foreigners from far away its a wonderful opportuinty to get in touch, see, feel, hear and see the FERRARI factory with all the goodies!

Tried that but my Ferrari is too old to be an interesting customer for the dealer. No change the dealer will arrange that for me so such trips are the only possibility to get into the factory..............:(

I don't think that any excuses are needed! You both are telling your own stories. Both wonderful! I am very happy that Carol enjoyed the factorytour.

    Roel,

It is absolute bullsh*t that the dealer cannot arrange it for you. You are an official Ferrari owner, that is what counts!!!

I've asked at Kroymans about a year ago when I was a 208gt4 owner and they told me it was not possible. Only for customers who are in the market for a new one.

Didn't ask Munsterhuis Enschede, will do that soon.

    That is not true!
Francorchamps took care of my factory visit! And I did not even buy my car at their dealership.

    Try the FCN.

Just drive down to Maranello with your Ferrari!
A little bit bal, bla, bla and there is always a tour you can join as a singel guest - you just need your "Fahrzeugschein"!!!
    Its realy easy going!

Are you sure?? Thought it is allmost impossible to get in.

I am gonna try what Ton said. I'll ask Munsterhuis next week when I am in Enschede again. Maybe I can combine a visit when I am in Italy this summer.

    Yes!

    Thought - doesn`t means to know something:D
And as a Ferrari owner with a Ferrari in Maranello - NO PROBLEM!

(maybe it was the old Dino208gt4 problem last time;))
