Welcome to the site......I'm sure there's some VIN numbers floating around, you could use...... Best of luck! Really need to combine the Lambo and Ducati shops also, to fill out the trip!
LOL!! Thanks for catching my mistake. It won't happen again, I promise! Thanks! Does it help to know Ferrari owners? I don't have a Ferrari of my own (yet), but I do know Ferrari owners in my area. There is no dealership in my area; I live in Reno, Nevada and the closest dealer is in San Francisco. Thanks for the help.
Not anymore, you have to contact FNA, and after they have your proof of ownership, they will then make the schedule for you.
Normaly about two months prior but the sooner the better. Call FNA and they will tell you what day in June are available, you have a choice. I reserved mine 4 months prior to my trip.
It is always good to repeat (many treads) but make sure you make your reservations at the Planet Hotel. It is not only directly infront of the factory main gate but you can also see the Fiorano test track (all rooms have a view of either one and some have both). It is new, super nice, reasonably priced, and most important the staff is very friendly and helpful. If you are renting a car they have underground free parking. You can walk to the museum (250 meters) and to many restaurants in town including the famous Montana (about 300 meters). The Cavallino of course is right across the street. Ask for Franco. Again I have nothing but praise for him as the service is beyond the normal expectations...of course I stop there every year. Their website is: http://www.planethotel.org/inglese.htm
^Agree 100% about The Planet and Franco. We had lunch (twice) at Cavallino and dinner at Montana. We skipped the factory tour and were able to get a tour of Classiche instead.
I will go to factory 25th of November to create may new 458.My dealer take appointment, the journey going to take 2 days...
I will be at the factory for a tour this coming Tuesday. Just curious if anyone else on this forum may be there at the same time. 10:00 am tour scheduled.
Look forward to meeting you Tom. My wife and I will be coming up from Florence. Have a safe trip over!
I had the opportunity to visit the factory this past weekend with my girlfriend, which was quite the treat! They didn't allow us to take any pictures inside the factory, but I took a few of the museum that you guys might enjoy. I was impressed by the differences in the builds of V12s vs V8s, how much slower, calm and quiet the 12 cylinder line was. The tour was very pleasant and organised in the last minute (call on Friday, tour done on Monday!). Had a great lunch across the street at Cavallino. Was definitely worth the drive from Lake Como.
