If you are an owner (I am) do you need to arrange the tour through a dealer or contact the factory directly? Planning on a trip in September and was hoping to do the factory tour.
Inquiring minds want to know!

If I own an old Ferrari (328) and don't use the local dealer for maintenance, would they still be interested in setting this up or would they just tell me to go away?

I'm going to Italy for a month next year and I'd love to tour the factory, but I feel like I'm not really a "Ferrari" person as I don't purchase new cars from them.

The dealer can help you. Also you can contact the concierge at [email protected]. They will ask for your VIN and the name of your guest (if any). They can be strict at times so register with the exact name(s) shown on the ID you will present (usually a passport).

I just went on the factory tour and if anyone has one scheduled for the month of July you might want to reschedule if possible. The assembly line is shut down for maintenance. It was great to be there and really cool but I hoped to see the cars come off the line.

 

Darn it. Im all booked in for July 21st.

 

Hi all, I'm heading to Europe in October and will be passing through Maranello. I've heard that if you're a Ferrari owner you can get a special tour of the factory. Is this true? If so, does anyone know what kind of "proof" of ownership you need? How or where can you schedule a tour?

I am also wanting to visit the Porsche factory as well if anyone has any experience getting in there (I do not currently own a Porsche though).

Porsche Museum is excellent even without a factory tour (not sure if they are even possible)
