I would like to take my wife and sons to the factory in Maranello. My understanding is that Ferrari owners are able to get some sort of special consideration. Has anyone taken this tour? Someone at the Ferrari of Ontario dealership told me that the tours are only available in the F1 offseason. Is this true? What arrangements need to be made?
    Thanks for your help.

I have a Ferrari factory tour scheduled for 11-30-10. Per FNA, the owner is only allowed one guest 16 years old or older to join him on the tour.

I worked directly with Ferrari North America's Ferrari Concierge:

Ferrari Concierge, a customer care service for clients that offers information and support for all Ferrari events and programs. The Concierge also assists clients with information and registration for driving programs, F1 Paddock Club, factory tours, and many other special client programs. The Concierge is open 10am – 5pm EST and can be reached at 1-866-551-2828 or by email at [email protected].

The rules may have changed, but you can give them a window of dates and they reply with a specific date and time.

Thanks so much everyone. Very helpful. It sounds like my sons are too young for this tour!

Any other impressions would be appreciated.

    Impression?
    Its friggin' awesome!

You need 2 days there. The tour takes you to the Galleria, but you do not get to spend that much time there. Go before the tour, spend some time there.
Also, go rent a new one! Several places you can rent.
As all the other threads will say, eat at Montana's, and Cavallino.
Stay at Planet Hotel. I was in Room 502 (request it). Great porch, overlooks the factory, the restaurant, can see Fiorano. that room is like a condo, with an upstairs and an additional bed, so if you have more than 2 persons, its perfect.

did I say it was friggin' awesome?!?!

I missed mi cousin because I had to pick someone from the airport but according to his wife you must be 16 and most tours are arranged through the dealerships but if a tour is schedule for the day you can sometimes join it if its not full.

I come here every year and never have thought about taking the tour but I have been to the restaurants and Fiorano

We're staying at Planet Hotel for the last two days of our 15 day Italian vacation so we can tour the factory and other Ferrari attractions in the area.

We stayed at the Planet Hotel right before the Italian GP in Monza last month. We had great meals at both Montana and Cavallino. It was a wonderful trip and a perfect warm up for a Ferrari 1st and 3rd at Monza that week. It was our third trip to Maranello and it gets better each time!
