The modern lines and overall look of the Ferrari FF don't appeal to everyone. The same can be said for the HRE Vintage 505 wheel set. But, that didn't stop our team from combining the two and we think the outcome is quite tasteful. Styled as homage to Ferrari wheels of yesteryear, these modern sized 22" polished and brushed beauties set off the gorgeous pearl white paint and compliment the flowing body lines nicely. Maybe it's not for everyone, but we love how this turned out!

Not sure i like the shinny effect too much. But i like the design and they do complement the FF very well.

Nice to see something different. Not a fan of the size, but I like the design - would be great in 20"/20". And also great to see something else than yet another set of boring black wheels - I just don't get it...

But uh, gotta ask. What is the weight of those?

For me it cheapens the look. Not elegant, more baseball cap on backwards. Should imagine the driver would wear diamond earings and plenty of gold

It would be interesting to seem them in a dark bronze or dark grey with that paint.

Nope. Not these on the FF. Inelegant, heavy-looking, and overcooked.

    But keep on experimenting.

I agree with noblesse... They are more suited for Mid engined V8 cars.

I think they would be perfect on Eric Clapton's bespoke 458. Because on the vintage look

I love it. I'm damn near sold on an FF now. How was it lowered? Or was it lowered by photoshop?

I hope so. I've seen a lot of wheel companies fake the funk by lowering with Photoshop.

Why? Are you seriously bothered that someone would like something you don't?

Not bothered in the least, it's a personal thing. I just don't understand the urge to ruin the purity, originality and subtle elegance of the original. Not to mention what it's done to the ride quality and handling plus reduced rubber puts more stress fatigue on suspension bushes and the like.

Good job we are all different or we wouldn't be kicking this around

I'm quite sure Novitec springs don't ruin anything about the car, if anything just tightens things up a bit, not a bad thing if that's what you're after.

Looks amazing, 12/10 would drive. I love those on just about anything, on the FF they look perfect.

I'm also in agreement that aftermarket springs and wheels are never better on this car. It's the rare car that's not been tweaked by the manufacturer to ride in the best way.

Sure you can make the FF a tighter race car with a bumpy ride if you want, but why did you buy the FF?

Sport mode stock is plenty tight.

How does having a 20% (guesstimated) stiffer ride make the FF loose it's whole purpose?

If you're not driving it in snow or don't mind a small sacrifice in comfort to have a better looking car this modification does absolutely nothing to reduce the practicality of the car.
If someone would remove the backseat and trunk for a roll cage and convert the car the FWD then yes, I would scratch my head as well. But a 1 inch drop and different wheels? Not that drastic imo.

I should add, it's not that drastic but it makes a world of difference to the appearance!

Well, if you have never altered your wheels by 1" or your springs then yes, this would be your opinion.

These F cars, like all well made cars, are tested and designed around a certain mindset by people who do nothing but explore the options. You lower the car or increase the wheels you make it more bumpy and stiffer and in that sense you lose the BALANCE of what all the car can do well. It's more like a 458 etc at that point, but not as fun and not made to be a 458 feeling :) So why go there?

If you want a stiff car with thinner sidewalls and a race feel ... buy one. Stock cars make sense because the people who design them are smarter than you :)

Exhaust maybe, a chip maybe, but there is a fine line.

And Honda looking ghetto mods on high end cars are often a hit to resale, so keep all your parts !

Stock cars make sense because they have to suit 99% of the people. So they make them generic. You really need to realize that a GTO or Speciale version *in terms of geometry alone* is not much more than a slightly dropped and stiffened suspension and thinner sidewall tires like these HRE or Novitec people do.
