I love TDF, one of the best all time colors hands down. Is your car lowered, and if so if that the factory spring?
Picked up my FF from the dealer today from it's annual service Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I use my 2012 year round. It's sadly a bit dirty because of all the grit, but canna di fucile is a great color.
I enjoyed the FF how it was intended today... This is what autocross is like in Minnesota. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, and Grigio Titanio hides the dirt too! Christmas 2021 we drove it up to Quebec City. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Now here is something interesting. The last few posts show FF's driven in snow conditions (Papou you can ignore this post ). Yet none of the cars have a rear window wiper. I was the second owner of my car, so I had no option to order it even if I wanted. How about the rest of you, did you not want it due to looks, or didn't want to pay for the option (I don't know the cost), or just thought you'd never use it?
I’m not sure if it was even an option on the early cars (just as power tailgate and pano roof wasn’t available on the early cars). Our FF is out in all conditions (including rain and snow) and I’ve never found the rear screen obscured to the point of wishing there was a wiper. It simply isn’t necessary (in the same way as it’s unnecessary on a saloon car).
The rear wiper was a no cost option on the Lusso, I presume it was the same on the FF. I didnt spec it as the dealer told me it was not needed thanks to the car's shape. And he was right. As long as you keep moving, the Lusso's rear window will stay clear. If you are at a standstill and the rain is falling at an angle, it can reach a bit higher than the middle of the window, but will clear once you start going about 70km/hr. The top part of the window is below the spoiler so is shielded most of the time.
I drive in rain a lot and have a rear wiper, but I don’t use it because it isn’t needed. Sorry, I need to take a rain photo. Image Unavailable, Please Login
