I am a high school senior, and I would like to rent a Ferrari for prom around the Reading-Philadelphia, PA area, Are there any companies around there or any owners that rent out Ferraris? Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

Finding an owner that will "rent" one out is highly doubtful unless you have a close family friend that owns one.

As for a company that rents them out, I dont know in that area, but Im sure there are some. Check back in like an hour, I will look for some.

    NO!!! :)

I had a new Corvette to drive for my prom and it was a nightmare...

Ferrari's are for car enthusists... NOT to impress girls (they could care less)

    Girls love limos 100x more.

Prom is about getting drunk and having sex, and a drunk kid and a Ferrari do not go well together...

Rent the Ferrari on a day YOU can enjoy it...

PS: nobody will rent you one unless you are over 25 anyway... unless it is lent to you by a private owner (and they would be stupid).

Get a Hummer Limo, a bottle of a girly drink and have fun. :)

+1. We had a group of 10 couples, an H2 limo, and lots of alcohol. It was FAR better than going just with your date.

Seriously, you'll be too drunk to remember driving a ferrari (and no one will rent it to you anyway since you are under 25).

if you do rent a ferrari, make sure it's a 2+2. You'll probably want to have a back seat.

    Hahahahahahaha :)

You'll spend all your time trying to figure out how everything works. Really tough at night when you can't see.
You'll be worried about where to park it so it won't get damaged, etc.

When I was in high school I was more interested in playing with the girl than playing with a car.

And nobody will probably rent one to you at your age.

I rented a Ferrari once in California. It was a piece of ****. Had to let it warm up a long long time because the thing was so out of tune.

Get something that is easy to manage so you can concentrate on the girl.

    I know the feeling dude.

I'm taking the Mondial to prom. >.>
I know someone in a Trans Am who needs to be put in his place.

I'm not worried about the car seeing as its going to be at a high-class hotel. I'm just not going to let them park it, hah. Girl I'm going to go with absolutely loves cars aswell.

There is a company in Toronto that rents them and the only way to rent it under 25 is if it's for prom. They deliver it to you, you drive it to pick up your date, then to the prom, and someone from the company follows you to make sure you don't do anything dumb. Then when you get there, they take it back, because you're not allowed to drive it home afterwards. And it'll cost upwards of 1k for that. IMO not worth it. Prom is overrated anyways.

Hmmm . . . sounds like an immature show off statement. Check past threads on teeny boppers showing off in Ferraris - most ended up dead or the passenger ended up defunct.

You don't want to bring a Ferrari to the prom and deal with the headaches. Take a limo and have someone else drive.

Careful hotshot.... a Mondial is no F430 anyway.... off the line a Trans Am with some work done would walk away from you pretty easily...

Your right chase. Be a good friend and buy him a ticket out to San Diego. Give him the 360 keys, and let him drive it across the country for his prom! And since your so kind, do the same for covy07.

All I can say is, if you can afford it and if she is realy worth that much, and knowing you're not going to do something stupid, then by all means rent the damn thing and be SAFE.

Well, me and my step brother are both seniors in high school but he lives in Dallas with my father and i live in San Antonio with my mother. He will probably drive the Fcar since my dads does not really care for his cars that much, or my step-brother will bother his ass until he does.

Me on the other hand would be happy with anything. It's not really what you go in since everyone will see it for like 10sec and they will say "Wow" and later on everyones drunk and doesnt remember anything. You dont want to be that loser that mentions to them, "so did yall see me in the Ferrari".

Girls love the limo, but make sure you leave with it at the end of the night, just you and your date in a limo by yall self listening to Andrea Bocelli...That's what i plan to do....:D

Going in a Ferrari might be wow at the begging but would be a pain in the a$$ later on in the night...and from experience with girls, they just dont care for Fcars.

    john
