    Hi

    1st post on here ..

We have a race series in the UK that we run a 328 GTB in, it's called the Formula Classic,
we have to run Perelli tyres and use the superb P Zero corsa c dry semi slick,

My problem is we can't get them anymore and was wondering if any of you guys can help me source some, new or secondhand ?

The sizes i am looking for are the 245/45/16 and 225/45/16 or 205/45/16

any help would be much appreciated as we have a front running car that may not be able to do the full season ?

    thanks

    Craig

    Yes,
there is another tire available but the old corsa c dry is about 2 seconds a lap quicker around say Silverstone or Oulton Park, this is the the year were they are allowing the people who have old tires left to use them up, but the new ones are miles off the pace,

We were promised the new track tire but they still haven't made it yet.

We are not allowed to use any other tire than Perelli.

(seems odd spelling tire this way we spell it tyre?

I am assuming you contacted Pirelli directly? Have you spoken with other competitors for their feedback?

    Yes, you assumed correct,

I am trying to find some old stock, even second hand ones just to finish the season off and as none are available in the UK i am searching over seas,

All the competitors are in the same situation but some have spare tires and spare stock, we don't and the new tires are miles away from the old ones as far as pace goes.

If we were at the middle of the grid it wouldn't matter the same, but every race we have entered so far with this car we have won and broken the lap record for the class and won outright at some circuits. Not me driving..

you have to run a spec tire that is out of production and the manufacturer isn't supporting the series?

    weird.

anyway, try contacting these guys, they are in Wisconsin so I'm sure shipping won't be cheap. if nothing else maybe they know someone closer to you.
