    Because you asked... wait... no you didn't... lol I will disagree with you to an extent.

    430s will be sought after... but not crazy collectible. It will be no different than a Ferrari 328. What you are saying maintinance wise about the 430 is what everyone has been saying about the 328 for the last 2 decades and only now has it risen and more recently rocketed in value. They are roughly at MSRP depending on year make condition etc... So... a 430 25 years from new might be worth close to sticker... but what will the dollar by then? (answer if trump becomes president... 1 dollar will be a BILLION :))

    Maintenance will be a contributing factor, but really to only those who are looking to actually drive the cars. The MEGA buyers usually could care less about maintenance cost. They are going to service the car once... thats it. And they hope during the hold... the car will say double in value.

    I hate Mercedes... BUT... I would say a decent bet is the sl55 and the clk63 black will do well. But.... in the past Merecedes hammer sedans haven't really set the world on fire and most mercedes product has been laging behind the BMW value (post 1985)
