    There are actually quite a few in the US. I don't know the exact number, but there are several. They've been brought in using at least three methods:

    1) Show and Display, which I believe is how Gates' car came in. This way it could be unmodified.

    2) Canepa Design actually federalized some, making a bunch of changes in the process. I think this is how most of them came in.

    3) The white one referenced earlier was brought in by being disassembled, and then reassembled in the US as a kit car. Thus it's not technically a "Porsche" per the VIN, etc.
