Ferrari Gathering In Reston - Happening This Year or Not?

Why are you trying so hard? Is it that important that you be relevant here? This is the third thread that you've tried to elicit some sort of response...... do us all a favor and stop trolling! What does FOW ownership have to do with the Reston meet?..... nothing that's what.

Join the Ferrari Club of America and designate Mid-Atlantic Region as the local chapter and you will get a nice magazine, the newsletter, and invitation details to the Spring Thaw in April and other club events throughout the year, as well as emails.

Word of advice, play nice. The people are down to earth and very accomodating - to a degree.

If you conduct yourself appropriately, you will be most likely be welcomed and treated well.

If not...well, we don't need to go there, do we?

 

Seriously... if enough PAYING members are saying they want a non-paying member banned who does nothing but incite animosity, you're gonna sit there and tell us to ignore him? Whatever you're smoking I want some too.

 

Paying doesn't give anyone here the right to run another guy off. It means you support the site, and appreciate the benefits that a paying membership bring you. It doesn't mean you get to vote folks off the island.

His behavior, while marginal, is no worse than dozens of others here. (Of course not in the MAR, but in the forums in general.)

If you put him on ignore, or simply don't respond to his posts, he'll melt away. If you pursue him, you feed his ego, and he persists.

Seems quite simple to me. Don't respond to him. If we all ignore him, he'll have no one to talk to here and he'll spend more time on the Bimmer, or is it BEEMER, forums.

He's not the one behaving like a troll right now. Annoying, maybe, troll, no.

Rob will pretty much do that for anyone. I did explain the circumstances as best as I could.

The kid asked a simple, innocent question. I have no idea what he did to get banned, or PO so many people, but he did the crime and served his time. I am certain (and hopeful) that he will mature over time. Give him a break. Or just ignore him and don't post.

I like the fact that we can exercise our freedom of speech (with minimal limitation). You can always change the channel or turn (the posts) off.

This particular Sub-forum, and region in general, is a piece of cake to moderate.

99.9% of the time we're cordial, and dare I say it, friendly towards each other and newcomers. Many of the regions are not so genteel; they lack certain social skills that we in the mid-atlantic region take for granted.

I enjoy moderating in here. (Well OK, enjoy is a pretty strong word.) It's a good group of folks here.
