i heard they had a ferrari/maserati parade on the bund on 6/5, about 70 cars. are those owner's cars from hk that are in town for the race event or are those dealer's inventory cars?

Many of those cars are actually driven by their owners from Hong Kong all the way to Shanghai !

The dealer organized the event and charged for it, believe it or not. Those owners had to drive days to get to Shanghai and then be part of their show.

Didn't they get some track time included in the "package"? Do you know how much it cost, and what exactly was included in the price? In the papers yesterday, they said something like "3 laps". :(

I did not see anyone leave the ciruit for Hongkong in their cars but I did see them loading into containers for the ship to Hongkong.

The drivers from Hongkong were not allowed to drive in China without a police escourt. The drivers took the plane home this morning.

    There were 38 cars from Hongkong I think including 2 Enzo's 2 F50's and an F 40

It was fun driving in the convoy through Shanghai as one thing the Chinese police are good at it closing roads.

    The track was awsome.

Will post a few pics shortly.
