Hey y'all..... hope everyone is doing well ! I was just watching this program on The Learning Channel called "Million Dollar Auction" and you all came to mind. Thought you might enjoy it. They show several antique ferraris in all their glory (exceptional restoration). Absolutely inspiring for anyone who loves Ferrari.

Well, Wishing everyone a Wonderful Weekend !*~*~

I saw it last evening too. I'm always facinated to see how cars that would otherwise be considered basket cases (like that Rolls or Delage), are beautifully restored.

Yep...saw it too. It's definitely a reminder, though, that *serious* resotrations aren't for the faint of heart, or light of pocketbook! Winning Pebble Beach is no small feat, and I have an enormous amount of respect for those who pull it off year after year. However, the show was definitely confirmation for me that I'm better off driving my car than trying to win shows with it.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love a show-quality paintjob and a like-new interior, but I don't think I could stand the scrutiny of the judging process - I'd drive myself mad (and bankrupt) trying to keep ahead of the judges next move.
