    It was tough last fall, but I was offered a "deal" on the Acer Ferrari laptop. I decided to go with the 348 spider instead and picked up a Toshiba R100 ultralight. Your Acer Ferrari may cost less than my investment - although the Acer rep was cuter than my 348. Your investment may be less in a laptop than mine.
