    Interesting; only 4059SA and 5029SA seems to have been built with red interior (both grigio argento 20265A with rosso connolly 3171).

    According to my notes (not confirmed as I have no photos of either car), 4059SA had open headlights meanwhile 5029SA had plexi covers.

    Time to bother your father with yet another question...

    Update!!

    the 400 Superamerica Series II had covered headlights! The car was owned by Mr. Price who almost died in the car "around a bend" in Longmeadow, Mass. Severly damaged the car and the fact it was built so well saved his life!

    Im getting exicted with all these stories i have never really asked about!

    Kare, 4059SA was for sale in 1984. I had contact with the owner Basil Shadlun then who said he had owned the car since 1970. It was open headlights and needed windshield, front bumper, 1/2 rear bumper, and the interior was out of the car. Paint was bad but body was good. Hope this helps fill in gaps.
