    yes I have the red one. I DO remember the black one but didn't get it (should have). I also have the original "expert builder" series "Auto Chassis" from the late 70's. I had a lot of fun as a kid putting that one together. The cars have gotten a lot better since then!

    I was thinking the same thing about the red one. I wanted it, but everybody rides me about "playing with toys". Peer pressure is terrible. Interestingly, I found, while cleaning out my guest room, an old Lego catalog from the '80s. I love cleaning out the guest room because you never know what you will find.

    Probably, but what fun is a Lego kit in the box. Live a little, open the box, put it together, drive it around the kitchen table. Let the kids make their own investments.
