Cavallino if you like the nitty gritty detail and history of old cars.

Ferrari Market Letter if you are in to buy, but it also has great articles- Thanks Carbon

Forza is the most well rounded.

    FCA mag is good too

Forza is about 50% ads and glitz, and expensive for what you get. Many of its articles are about racing, which is fine if you're into that, which I'm not. They occasionally have "Buyer's Guide" articles about specific models-Dino, 355, etc., which are generally a good reference, and you can find what issue you need from the back issue list in the back of each issue. A MUCH BETTER magazine all-around and the one I look foreward to the most every month (though not about Ferraris only) is Sports Car Market. Hard to find at most bookstores, etc, but I'll bet they'd send you a sample issue if you call them.

I guess i am biased but i can't stand Cavalino... Too Dry Too Stuffy No Passion it reads like a Joe Friday report. Forza is better and I will not coment on FML as I have not read it

Unless I am mistaken, Rosso Ferrari has gradually been dialed down into a once-a-year publication. The last issue I received was #24, covering the year 2005. Still elegant; pity that it seems to have lost its original momentum.

You'll need to become an FCA member to receive the "Prancing Horse" magazine. Ferrari ownership is not required.

Add to that, Cavallino has been making more and more mistakes and their data is just plain wrong at times. Furthermore, their info on races and other news bits is VERY OLD, but i guess that is to be expected for a dead tree publication versus the Internet. Decided not to renew my sub to Cavallino.

    Mags i enjoy are:

    Forza
    Classsic Cars
    Racer

True about dead tree publications, as is Classic Cars and Racer... though Cavallino seems to be further away from updated news and each issue of Cavallino seems to have more and more corrections in the letters page. They claim to be "The Journal Of Ferrai History," so i guess they can rewite history with each issue.

Maybe it is also that i just don't jive with their ways? Some of it is ok, though as time passes the less i desire reading it and the more i find Classic Cars and Racer much more interesting. Maybe they need to fold Otto and Flat-12 into it... but have a feeling those magazines have nothing new in information that can not be found here or elsewhere on the Internet.

Classic Cars is my fave mag, with Racer being #2.

Not exclusively Ferrari, but Auto Aficionado is gorgeous eye candy, and probably one of the most beautifully photographed periodicals out there!
