Hello all. I just bought my first Ferrari and am curious as to local shops in the seattle area that would cater to a 348. I am new to these cars and have heard that taking it to a dealer is crazy expensive. I was just looking for some input just in case. Mine just had a major done to it so hopefully will be fine for awhile. Thanks.

I'll let others answer this question.

Your car is a little easier to work on than a 355.

Mark @ Ferrari of Seattle is an astounding and skilled technician....

Ask me how I know....or...go ahead and read my thread that is a few below this...

You will have many differences of opinion and after reading the thread that was offered, you have found that out. But I will jump in the middle of it and say that Carlo @ Alfa of Tacoma knows these cars like know other and I personally will not go anywhere else with my 78 308GTS.

One other consideration is Bellevue Cars. com, on 116th and NE8th. Couple of ex Ferrari of Seattle guys and the pricing looked very reasonable.
The garage is impeccable and there is no lack of insanely priced cars in the showroom.
Tell them Martin sent you and you will get charged double the price :)

I won't bother jumping in or on any bandwagon like I usually would, but just wanted to say congrats on the purchase and welcome to Fchat!!

Congrats on your Ferrari, from what I can gather it is a 348 TS?
    Exciting times...

thanks, and yes it is a 91 348 nero ts. I haven't introduced myself on the intro thread yet. I probably should do that. I love the car but am a total noob on ferrari. Been spending alot of time reading on this website. There are lots of pics of the car on this site from Tom but i will get some of my own this weekend hopefully.

Had the fuel mixture checked and slightly adjusted on my 328 by Jareme Parsons at Bellevue Cars. David Feinberg recommended having this check done after replacing all the injectors just before I took ownership of the car. I got time to sit down and speak with Jareme, he showed me around the shop and introduced me to everyone there. He even took some very good pictures of the underside of the car for me including the often invisible jack points near the front of the car.

Jareme seems to be quite knowledgeable, well spoken, and clearly passionate about what he does. I was in and out in half a day (they gave me a loaner Mercedes to get to and from work), and the price was more than reasonable. He also recommended some additional work which agrees with what David found on the PPI.

So far as one visit can say, it looks like we may have a reaonable Eastside independent available now.

+1 on Jareme. He did the clutch on my Countach. Excellent to work with, and super nice guy.

Bellevue cars also has the lattest in diagnostics for Ferrari Maserati & Lamborghini that they purchased from me last year, Jareme is a good tech and Mike runs a nice establishment, if you want to supercharge your car or modify it or need an engine rebuild with a warranty call me, but I do not do service work unless we have done an engine for you. Carlo is good on 348 and older, he has the passion for the classics and he is a great guy!

Did Jareme work at Park Place at one point? Just curious.

Yes, he did. For a few years. He left to join Bellevue Cars shortly after finishing my Countach back around October of 2010.
