Didn't Ferrari have a hand in the development of the Agusta F4 engine?

That looks superb! I have seen a 1960s Norton bike with the 3500 V8 from a Range Rover on there! That was a truly amazing feat of engineering, I really don't know how it got all that weight round corners without tipping over! :D

Indeed they did. And the ferrari/MV agusta relationship went a little further than you may think. Ferrari engineered the MV F4 cylinder head. Also the MV F4s exhaust system was designed after the head designer Tamburini took apart his friends Ferrari F40 exhaust system, this friend happend to be Luciano Guerri the MD of ferrari.
At the MV Agusta launch the MV Agusta MD thanked ferrari MD and his friend Luciano Guerri who was also at the launch, for his help in designing the MV F4.
On an side note about the close relationship between the two builders,is that when Schumacher won the F1 championships for Ferrari. Luciano of Ferrari asked his MV designer friend Massimo Tamborini to design a pair of special celebrational MV Agustas F4s for him self and Schumacher. These bikes were painted in that years ferrari F1 livery.
There are only to of these bikes and they must be classed the true ferrari commissioned motorcycle. Pictured bellow is one;)
MB: I own two MV Agusta F4s the 750 and the F41000 as well as my 355 spider, so i suppose i have the best of both worlds:D Would realy love to get me hands on one of them F1 bikes;)

Yea ya right mate;) Though i sold my 996 last year to help buy my F4 1000:(
MB: There is also an interesting story regarding the bikes bllow. I realy dont know the full story but i read that ferrari the cars maker took out legal action against the makers of these bikes who was also called ferrari. So they had to stop making the bikes with ferrari on them.
