    Not the same Ferrari ;)

BTW...just last night OCC did a custom bike for AMG. It was way out of their element yet they did a decent job.

I believe Cagiva late 80's early 90's had some support from Ferrari with 500cc F1 motorcycle racing team. It would not have been engines though because they were using Yamaha. Might have been just financial because they were Italian.
Randy Mamola was their top rider, never won the series but Randy could power slide that Cagiva.

    Hi guys.
No Cagiva haven't received any help from Ferrari. It's no sense. Different engines (2 stroke, 4 cylinder), different objectives, no publicity for Ferrari on a bike that only has won 3 GP. One with Eddie Lawson, on the Hungarian GP in 1992, another one with John Kocinsky in Laguna Seca, in 1993, and the last one in 1994, in Australia.

    Cheers

Those would have to be the easiest belts to replace on any Ferrari

The engine in the F4 MV Agusta was taken from a Ferrari design, was changed quite a bit in its final MV form. But none the less its got Ferrari blood.

Ferrari did, in fact, help out Cagiva in the ninties, designing for them a carbon fiber 500 GP chassis. Though... they eventually went back to aluminum. It didn't win a lot, but it was without question the sexiest bike in the paddock. Lawson, Chandler, Kocinski, Mladin all rode it.
