While I have never heard of a single song, nor do I want to, riff Raff has a net worth of about $10 million, has 1.4 million followers and it appears has a bunch of albums (according to my research to see who he was). Not my cup of tea but I wouldn’t make fun of someone’s success. (I did listen to about 10 seconds of music before it had to shut it off and listen to some classic rock).

Wow … this thread has really gotten ugly. It probably should be moved to the Politics and Religion forum. I’m not a fan of the specific artists posted in this thread but I am a fan of rap music in general. I am also a fan of almost every other genre of music including classic rock, metal, electronic, etc. Perhaps you should sell the car. I think you will find that Ferrari owners have a more diverse taste in music than you’d like to think. While I don’t agree with the aspects of rap music that promote criminality, I enjoy rap music. Does that make be a lesser human being in your eyes? I’ve made my money by being an executive and part of the founding team of a tech company that was acquired for half a billion. But I suppose that since I like some rap songs I’m part of what’s wrong with society. These artists create this kind of music because there is a market for it. I don’t agree with it but you can’t fault them for trying to create wealth for themselves. The reason there is a market for this kind of music is a long discussion that definitely needs to be moved to another section so we can go back to discussing cars.

It’s a form or art and expressionism. While I don’t like it, I would never criticize others for what they like. I have professionals that work for me that enjoy that type of music and they are very successful and intelligent.
