Phil with 355 will be there. Sorry for late notice.
I'm in. This sounds silly, but what is dress code there? Last time I was in slacks and nice shirt so didn't matter.
I'm too fat for my slacks! I'll manage. Remember the skit with Chris Farley...."fat guy in a little coat" that's me.
Ok Mr. Sansabelt, borrow your dads pants and come on out. I'm leaving the office in 14 minutes, and going to happy hour. Then home to feed the dog, finish packing, and get the car. Weather.com says we're down to 10% chance of rain. I should be there by 7:30 or 8:00.
I was out having dinner tonight at Cafe Madrid at 10 PM and saw a red 355, red TR, and white 328 at the Sopangos valet parking lot on Knox St. Now I get home to get my FerrariChat fix before bedtime and read this thread. What a coincidence! Too bad I didn't know or I would have joined you guys.
Thanks to Nick for spearheading this get-together. I had a great time. It was a perfect way to spend an early summer evening.
Nick, thanks so much for the get together. It was a blast. My first Mojita buzz. Great group of people, beautiful cars and beautiful women on a perfect summer evening.
Sorry I couldn't make it I had a "Spontaneous Combustion" issue regarding soon to be ex.... Bet you guys had more fun than I did...
yeah thanks Nick for organizing that. Had a blast just chit chatting and getting to know some new people. anyone get any pics of all the cars together?
Thanks to Nick for organizing...thanks to everyone else for your warm and friendly hospitality. I had a great time and enjoyed meeting each of you. I look forward to the next event! Frances
I am glad everyone had a good time, I know I did. Now Im waiting for jimpo1s wine picnic and Speed Racerettes cigar night! Nick
Nick, Thanks for setting this up. It was great to see some familiar faces and meet a few new ones. How did the afterparty go at Sipango? I guess it was good if Jim is writing a response at 3am. -sean
We had a good time over there too. But I do have a question, is the sun a lot brighter this morning than it was yesterday? :>
Yes. It certainly is. I think it has something to do with impact of the additional beer at Schads house and the others following that.... Thanks for setting it up Nick, it was a lot of fun. You still get the award of the night for your activities at Sipango.
Sorry I couldn't stay longer, but 5:00 am comes a lot earlier than it used to when I was younger... And I need the recipe for whatever those drinks were at the Samba Room
3 fresh Mint sprigs 2 tsp Sugar 3 tbsp fresh Lemon Juice 1 1/2 oz Light Rum Club Soda In a tall thin glass, crush part of the mint with a fork to coat the inside. Add the sugar and lemon juice and stir thoroughly. Top with ice. Add rum and mix. Top off with *chilled* club soda (or seltzer). Add a lemon slice and the remaining mint, and serve.
