    Did the rules change? Really?

Regardless it is/was in the discretion of the stewards to get a beached car going again.

    Let's see:
German GP, German grandstand filled with CEOs and VIPs from Mercedes, the MERCEDES McLaren gets beached in front of it. What are the odds the driver gets some help?

Malaysian GP, no grand stands, no Ferrari CEOs and VIPs, a Ferrari, a Brazilian driver. Why would anybody care?

    or to put it differently:

Heidfeld or Kubica in the PETRONAS Sauber beached in front of the Petronas grandstand with its VIPs, CEOs and the Malaysian government officials, yup, they would gotten him out of the sand.

PS: Michael Schumacher at the German GP beached on the curbs? You guessed it, got help from the Marshalls.

As long as the FIA uses local marshalls you'll see things like this happen.

You can actually blame me for not having given him some chill out time for that offense. But I haven't forgotten.

Just checked another forum  and read this..

Apparently new rules this year prevent these "push-start" actions by the stewards (according to ITV's coverage of the australian GP this year), and I for one am glad about that.

    So that's where I heard it ..

Push starts have been long banned. Hami's situation at Nuerburgring was different: He was lifted out of the gravel trap while his engine was still running. Not a push start.

Ok will get to the bottom of it, James bond is on now so I'am watching it..! boat chase round London one (world is not enough.)

I 'am sure it is banned though crane lifting that is ,whilst driver in car, I think they just have to get out the car if stuck even with engine running.

Didn't know that, at least his Posts make some sense unlike some people who's post only make sense to them.

They don't want to let on like it's a serious problem so sponsors don't start getting too nervous. My guess he and the Todt's will all be gone for next year.

There really is no need for labeling people here. It needs to stop. I dont like all the posts I see. I simply dont respond. NO ONE HERE is the expert. So live and let live and learn to ignore. Life is full of people with opinions, many we dont like or care for. So be it.
    Enough.
    :)

Ok thank's for your input, However I respect anyone who speak's there mind within the boundary's of the forum rule's.

Everyone has a right to there view point no matter how absurd.

Believe me I find it hard to show restraint, especially when I read Baised post's by people that prop up there point's with idiotic garbage thinly disguised ,desperate to be clever, and all because the underlining reason is they hate the west.

Unfortunately there are no rules here, hence no boundaries. Profanity is admitted on this subforum despite numerous complaints. Things usually go downhill when that happens, that's what moderators should in theory be here to prevent.

There is on this board a vulgar child (and conspiracy fanatic) who always and repeatedly spells the Alonso name while referring to the anal orifice. Alonshole, get it? It has being going on for months.

I no longer hope for a moderator's intervention. Maybe it requires somebody calling the Ferrari drivers Raikunten and Massturba (HAHAHAHA!) for something to finally be done by the powers that be. Or not?

This place is worse than the P&R forum.

    Cheers,

    Julio

I notice that none of the Massa critics have stooped to referring to him as M-a-s-s-h-o-l-e.

I guess that says something about the Alonshole crowd.

30.4 If a car stops on the track it shall be the duty of the marshals to remove it as quickly as possible so that its presence does not constitute a danger or hinder other competitors. If any mechanical assistance results in the car rejoining the stewards may drop the driver such number of grid positions as they consider appropriate if the incident occurs during a practice session or exclude him from the race (other than under Article 30.9(d).

Still need to do I bit more digging with this to make it perfectly clear, but as with everything else Max does it's alway's unclear or open to ??? depending how it suit's HIM.
