Picking up a 2016 Cali T HS. What options are out there for OEM wheel swaps? It has the nicer dark gray 20 inch optional wheels but I’m not a huge fan. I think I heard 458 wheels work and maybe base F12 wheels. It would be awesome if the split five spoke upgraded F12 wheels would work but I think the rears are too wide. I like changing wheels but not aftermarket. My 360 had 18” OEM BBS Challenge wheels and my F430 had OEM Scuderia wheels. Both sets made the car to me. Trying to find that on the Cali T. Thank you for the input!

458 rims can work but require spacers to fit properly. I don’t think the 488 rims will work.

I have a set of factory California 30 rims for sale, 20” forged sport rims, diamond finish, correct size and offset for the Cali T as well. Brand new in the Ferrari boxes. $4250 plus shipping or pick up near Boston.

These rims (as shown on my former Cali 30):

Savini makes a great looking rim. These are the bm 14s. Also, SV f5 have similar look, but lightweight. 21x9s in the front and 22x10.5s in the back look amazing

I’ve got the same ones as Vic is selling and they look fantastic. Have you thought about possibly getting them powder coated in another colour instead? Rose gold, black, anthracite etc. Instead of swapping them out?

    Hi Dan
Do you have additional pictures ?
I may go for Portofino wheels too on my Cali T.
Any issue/problem since you have them?
    Thanks

Hi Vic, sorry just now seeing your message as I dont hang out here that often anymore as I already sold my 2016 California T a year ago now.

Yes, I do have additional photos of my car with the Portofino Wheels.
No issue with the Portofino wheels on a California T.

The issue is the usual Ferrari reliability and build quality issues.
Frustrating for such an expensive car. In the 3 years I've owned my Cali T: Manetino switch circuit card failure, valve cover gasket leaking that requires an engine out procecure to replace, roof open/close indication issues, leather shrinkage issues on dashboard and also on roll over rod covers and the leather around it, etc.

Kindly eMail me at [email protected] and I can share with you more photos if you still need them.

    All the best to you.

I feel your pain Dan. 2016 Cali T here. Leather shrinkage on the dash/instrument cluster, quoted $1,500 to fix. Head gasket oil leak that also required engine out to repair. Then this summer a coolant return line leak that required the trans to come out to replace. There are 2 lines, ended up replacing both since they were already in there. And here I am looking at wheel spacers and Novitec lowering springs.

I loved the diamond pattern wheels on my Cali T, I may put those on my Portofino instead of the mundane factory grey ones. I got the same oil leak/needs engine out/ $18K estimate for my Cali T on it's last dealer visit. Oil level was still full so I doubted a catastrophic near term outcome. I traded for a Portofino just so I can hear that message again in three years:mad:.
