It was a perfect weekend for our driver Mark Issa, who again took pole position and fastest lap enroute to a six second margin of victory. With 28 cars on the 2.238 mile circuit, there were bound to be a few close calls and contacts, and there certainly were on the opening lap and throughout the race. Ultimately, though, Issa proved to be in a class of his own and has put himself in excellent position as the Challenge season heads towards the mid-way point at Montreal!

Having seen Challenge races at Montreal, expect a lot of banging and "rubbing". The cars look huge on that tight circuit and contact is inevitable! In every race I've seen there, at least one car is totally wrecked and at least one (usually) catches fire. Good luck!
