My wife, son and I took a little road trip yesterday to Ferrari of Washington DC just to have a look and see what they had there, it was amazing to see the Ferrari's they had there. The best one that we looked at was the F430, it is the closest I have ever been to one and I think it changed my life not to mention my wife's life! It is the most beautiful car that I have ever seen in my life! I wanted to set in it so bad, but they had the alarms on them set. It was hard enough keeping our 3 year old son off of the cars!

Here are a few of the pictures that we took there:

They are a great dealership, walking through the service area always beats the showroom, some amazing cars back there.

Yea, we walked to the back of the dealer room where all of the trophies set and there is a huge window where you can look at all of the cars and watch some of the guys working on them, really a great site to see! The shop looked pretty full of cars from getting engine work done to body work and all in between. They also have a Maserati and Lamborghini section there, the Lambos look better on TV to me, the Ferrari's pretty much blow the other cars away as far as looks go. The Lambos and Maserati's are all setting outside and they keep the Ferrari's inside, good choice!
We had a great time there, looking forward to going back with about $250,000.00 in the bank!...lol...lol...lol...

Back when FoW was out by Dulles, VA, they had a pretty 'open' policy for the shop area - so long as you didn't touch ANYTHING, and didn't pester the mechanics 'too' much, you could roam free through the facility. One can get a REAL education from doing this, looking at empty engine bays, bare motors, exhaust systems, looking at the underside of newer models when up-on-the-lift, talking to the mechanics about various service issues/remedies/frequent problems, check out the Challenge Race department, etc. If you're 'nice', and/or an owner, you might be able to talk to the service manager today and get that behind-the-scenes tour.....

We were in such amazement just being there with the cars that we really didn't talk to anyone in there. We did ask that lady at the front desk if we could take some pictures in there though, that's the only person that we talked to. We did walk around the back where the entrance to the shop is at though, had some pretty nice looking cars out there also. This is one of the cars that was setting in the back. The Lamborghini's looked great there, but you just can't beat the way a Ferrari sticks out from them. The Ferrari's just drag you in and invite's you to look at them in amazement, it is truly an unbelievable car.
