I hadn’t seen it mentioned, but on Sunday 3/20/22, Ferrari of Washington invited FCA members to their F1 Watch Party for the 2022 Season Opener. Guests were treated to a catered breakfast along with several viewing rooms of the race. FoW also offered test drives of the new Ferrari Roma and Portofino M, which I really enjoyed. I intentionally skipped out before the end because I wanted to see the race in its entirety, however, I bet there was quite the celebration given the (unexpected?) 1-2 finish!

Glad to see they are holding events and keeping the Forza spirit alive.

They had another one of these for Monaco this past weekend, and what was billed as a pretty impressive gala event last night. Missed out on both of those due to some travel obligations (and I’m not sure I would’ve wanted to be in a room full of broken hearts on Sunday). Attended one of the watch parties last year and it was a blast, holding spirited F8 test drives with a couple of the instructors who knew what the heck they were doing.

They also have been doing some other cool events, like an Opus One wine tasting a few weeks back which was neat (if not the least bit car related haha). Seems like more car and coffee events now too, and I know they had a setup out in old town the other weekend. Folks complain about the recent track day costs (maybe rightfully so), but I’m glad they’re giving it all a go and trying to get events filled on the calendar. I think there was a decent chunk of time in recent history where they didn’t do anything at all. The people behind it seem really passionate about doing some good events too, which is great.
