Freshmeat (anonymous) and 15765 (another annonymous) there is no need to blast or belittle the op. The market will determine what he gets for his original sign. If he doesn't like the price, then it is what it is. If the buyer doesn't like the asking price, he can pass on the purchase. No need to jump on the op. It's a great sign.
Sooo, what happened to this ruling,I got called out about it ,Mods. What about this mob giving the OP a toasting! http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/143994781-post1.html
Please explain what you mean by original. AFAIK signs like this were used in the 70's and 80's and were created by the dealers themselves. Ferrari never issued signs as a factory approved product then. At any rate is the electrical set up for 110v or 220v?
How old is the sign? How did you come by it? Can you please explain why the dot on the "i" in Ferrari is an oval instead of a dash? I cannot find any images of Ferrari dealer signs with that font, other than the current sign at the factory entrance. Alden
Back in the day Ferrari has no mechanism for protecting or controlling its trademark nor was it a priority. There were many sign makers creating all types and styles of signs including porcelain and light boxes. This is why the term "original" is to be taken with a grain of salt.
