Did you actually read that? Arrivabene said that they might think about team order in the future means no team order before so why do you say "Vettel was always number 1 driver"???

Yes I did read it peter. Vettel will always be the number 1 driver like he was at red bull.
He's good at dummy spits. Chucking a tantrum. Oh well it must be the German blood.
    Ruthless = Schumacher & Vettel.
    Love it

I agree about Vettel....but Schumacher? tantrums and dummy spits? Ruthless, definitely

Will be interesting to see if Vettel has lost the dummy spit gene....he hasn't done it for a while.

The driver with most points will be the 'No. 1' if that is the title you prefer. This season (though I have gotten a little bored with F1) that is Vettel. It makes perfect sense from a team point of view if not a spectators.

Well, he obviously had no No.1 status when joining Ferrari or there would have been team orders earlier. So when there will be team orders because he is leading against Raikkonen and this is because he drove better...But I do not want to destroy your prejudices against "German blood" ;)

Numbers don't lie. If Kimi had more points than Vettel, than Ferrari would treat him like number one driver. Apparently thats not the case. Drivers put themselves in either position the moment they start racing. Until that moment there shouldn't be any favoritism. They give both drivers the same car after all.

I used to say the same thing about Schumacher. He was the number 1 driver at Ferrari because he proved over and over again that he deserved to be in the only way that counts....more points.

Nothing wrong with team orders to help Vettel to secure his runner-up spot in the championship.

I am sure Raikkonen understand that.

As an example, a serious contender in BTCC lost his chance to win the title by a few points, because his team mate refused to accept team orders in the last race of the season, and kept blocking him. The idiot will probably be sacked!

WHEW! Back from the Ban! I get to see what's going on again.

In a situation like what's happening at Ferrari.. I think it's okay to have some sort of understanding. Kimi hasn't helped himself much this season with a lot of "unexplained" mistakes. But I think he gets it as evidenced by his radio transmission at the last race not waiting for the reply to let Seb go by because he was clearly faster at the time.

    Welcome back.

You can still read what's going on when you're banned....you just can't post. If you haven't been reading, you've missed pure gold! :)

My belief is that Vettel is better suited for the number one role here for Ferrari because he's young blood & for marketing purposes. Kimi is good but not great. An older man who properly just can't find the old world champ kimi. He's been there done that. I'm sure he's just happy to be with Ferrari follow orders & receive his huge pay check every month.
It's only my opinion. I'm not perfect

That's relevant. Do you remember MS and Nico in the Mercedes? I don't think they treated Michael or Nico differently.

Hopefully it never happens again, but just clear you cache/history and you can read it without signing in.

I don't think you can see photos though.
