Tom, did you get an answer to the location of this sticker on a 365GT2+2? Are there a couple picture of examples of original stickers in place to allow some verification?
    Thanks
    Craig

Marcel, your picture postings are extremely helpful and well done. Since i do not know my 330's that well, I would like to know what is the year of this 09307? What is the paint code? i cant see your photo now that i am in post mode. Where is this sticker located on this Ferrari?

To all please, If this is not a last year of production 330 GT, 1967 i assume, are there any photos of 1967 330 GT stickers? Are all the 330 paint stickers, in this era of 1964-67, hand lettered?
    thanks
    Craig

Yes, 506 is the newer one. PPG is Ferrari's latest pain manufacturer; Glasurit is the manufacturer Ferrari used to use. Ferrari used Nero Met. 901/C as early as 1994.

No, I didn't get an answer. The closest I've ever seen is the sticker on 09307, the 330 GTC posted by Marcel. I suspect that if 365 gt 2+2s had stickers, they would be like that one, and also probably located at the center of the hinge end of the trunk lid like that one appears to be. I've still never seen a 365 GT 2+2 with an original sticker or even a photo of one. I've been trying to find out for so long that I'm beginning to think no one knows. When I asked the Factory, I got a "language barrier type answer" that told me what the color of my car was (which I already knew from the color certificate). Asking them a question and getting an answer is a little like turning on your wipers and having the lights come on instead.

I've still got a perfectly good sticker and the color code to write on it but don't know where or if I should stick it.

    Oh well, that's vintage Ferraris.

Sorry to hear it, Tom. Have you posted this question in the 365 GT 2+2 section...? Surely one of those guys/girls has an answer.

Robert, are you saying that you want to find a sticker like the one in the picture you posted - only that you want it blank...?

Don't know the name of the color as it's a custom color; car belongs to Fux. From what I understand, it's a combination of four different colors, and was never intended to be used as car paint.

The Scuderia next to that one is Tony Kanaan's Scuderia - and those wheels are so awesome.

I really enjoy seeing the paint labels from so many different colors. Great thread.

I'm honestly not sure who would have something like that. Ricambi America...? T. Rutland's...? Maybe a call to FNA or perhaps a letter to the factory...?

They are NLA. I have one of these repros which are all over the place but incorrect for my car. Jay had some made up but ran out and his artwork was lost. I am still hoping that someone else might have some floating around. Just another loose end trying to tie up!

The best folks to ask are those owners who have restored their own cars or worked closely with the restorer; or established restoration shops that are intimately familiar with the exacting specifications a concours car must meet. I suggest starting a thread in the appropriate model-specific forum; if you don't have any luck there, start another thread in the Technical Q&A section. If that doesn't work, start calling restoration shops (e.g., Bob Smith Coachworks, et al). Good luck and please let keep us abreast of your progress.

I have a photo of a custom PPG sticker from a 599 but unfortunately I'm not allowed to post it.

That does suck. Especially since I'd love to know its corresponding serial number.

I'd love to see the PPG sticker for that pearlescent yellow Scuderia.

You already have the serial number of the 599. The owner gave it to you when he took delivery of the car.

That's what he tells me, but all I have is the Superamerica. It drives me crazy to think that I had it and lost it.

I bet that does drive you crazy. :) I blurred the numbers in all of my photos so I don't think I have it anymore.

Yeah, I know. Every time you post those photos, that drives me crazy, too. :) I stare at them thinking that if I just stare hard enough - long enough - the blurriness will go away and the number shall reveal itself.

That looks like the new Blu Abu Dhabi - the supposed replacement for Azzurro California. But I'm not certain, so hopefully someone more knowledgeable can chime in. If it is Blu Abu Dhabi, I don't yet know the color code, sorry.

Does anyone happen to know what the paint code or color code is for the dark grey oval areas surrounding the air intakes on the front bumper of the F430?

I have been told by a Ferrari Dealer that the painted ovals came in two colors black and dark grey. But they did not know the numbers.

I'm looking for paint codes for the 'new' Classic Colours. The list I have is:
    Avorio
    Avio Metallic
    Azzurro Metallic
    Blu Scozia
    Celeste Metallic
    Grigio Ferro Metallic
    Grigio Medio
    Grigio Scuro
    Verde
    Vinaccia

Any comments on what cars they were originally seen on would be nice as well, and pictures are always welcome!

    And also Blu Abu Dhabi

    Thanks,
    Steve D.
