Have you heard if it's going to be Maserati only in the Algar building? I heard Piazza wanted to make it some sort of "luxury superstore."

Piazza owns both Maserati/Alfa Romeo on Wilmington Pike and Maserati in Devon, I assume the Devon franchise is moving. Are there plans for that property? They tore down the photography studio, that according to county GIS records, was on the same plot as the Maserati store.

All I know is Maserati is heading there from what he said, he didn’t mention another make or luxury store.

I think Maserati's current showroom only has room for one or two cars so it will be interesting how they make use of the Algar space.

It’s definitely tight and extra space down the road will be nice. When I was there it was a matte white MC20 and an SUV. I hopped in the MC20, it was ok, not for me. Lots of Maserati around there so looks like they’re doing well. Good for them.

I was visiting Philly this past weekend (lived in Paoli 1991-98) and took a memory-lane ride down Lancaster Ave towards the city. Hadn’t known Algar was gone - and isn’t even Algar anymore. I remember in the mid-90’s when they had a Porsche 956 or 962 in Loewenbrau colors on the showroom floor. As others have pointed out, that Rosemont building is very cool, with great history.

Honestly surprised haven't had an open house. When they revamped the service area a few years back, they had one.

Does anyone know what Piazza is doing with the building in Bryn Mawr? I heard Maserati is moving there but saw there were some classics in the showroom including a 964 Flachbau

I was told Maserati as well but this was from RDS, not Piazza.

I visited the new location. The entrance and exit have been graded. The inside is current with all Ferrari locations now, very classy Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login . The show room is smaller but very nice. The lot includes a lot of Ferrari inventory with plans to knock down a building on the property and build a 4 story garage to keep new cars.

This is the second time I heard this, the building they would knock down is the "Lotus Dealer." RDS has had that franchise for two years or so and I guess gave up redoing that building for Lotus and just sells the cars through the Porsche dealer. I don't think they have plans for an actual Lotus dealer, I'm surprised Lotus let's them sell cars so unprofessionally while I hear they give other dealers grief how they need a dedicated showroom.
