A very talented young man in Paris has done a number of photopaintings of my cars. His most recent work is, I find exceptional. In addition as he progessses he sends me proofs for my comments. I think he is great and am posting the 2 pictures he has done of my most recent Stradale. Anyone interested in having something done by him, please PM me and I will pass you on his details. Enjoy! Maybe so but the fact that they're not means that they are amazing and this guy is really talented! Look great
This is the third car that he has done for me and he has been working on this one since the beginning of June. Says that the metallic black is much harder to work with. Anycase, the guy is young, absolutely passionate about Ferraris and - in my view - quite talented. Anyone who wants something different in terms of a picture of his car, should try him
That is indeed very nice... well, I know photoshop quite well and I can't do this... Thanks for sharing
Indeed, this must be made on a computer, how else can he perfectly match pixel to pixel all the shades and reflections on the car in two different paintings? It is photoshop, but very well done.
He's right, it's neat, but it's a Photoshop. Maybe he does the finished versions with real paint, and these are just prelims to get an idea of the background you might finally want. If you want more examples, try this : http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/Photoshops
the pics are very nice, however, it does not take too much skill to make ur pics looks like that with photoshop (im a photoshop beginner and i can do that to ur pics). i hope he didnt charge u an arm and a leg to do it
I like them... the "posterizing" (stepped gradations as opposed to a smooth transition) effects are quite nice. Very cool. GT
Made comments to him with regard to shades and effects and this is what he has come back with: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I emailed the pic to my son and said change it a little. He sent me these 5 min later. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Interesting. The problem is appreciating the work (a) via the internet and (b) after resizing the picture to post it. What Olivier does beautifully are the shadows and reflections on the paintwork. The background stuff is clearly a simpler issue to address. All who have seen his work for real are impressed by it. Lots of friends who are clever with photoshop have done pictures of my cars and it can be very neat - but this is something quite different. Also it is what you would call Poster-size so the attention to detail is also impressive.
