My SA is 20 this year. Can you beleive how time flies. Last year I had a steering hose leak and this year an oil breather pipe dripping. The local agent has suggested I embark on the FPP program to replace all the critical aging parts in 5 stages. Oil pipes, steering, water, brake pipes and fuel. Any thoughts? Apparently I get a classiche certification when I complete? All in after all stages complete around US$25K (but in Hong Kong). The old girl is getting on in age and want to keep her at best! Still going well though.

I thin JayEmm did this a while back to his 550. It's probably on his youtube - JayEmm on cars. Or you can send him a PM.

Ah! Yes. I watch quite a few of his videos. He did one on the SuperAmerica a while ago. I'll try to find it. Many thanks!

I have to say that James at JayEmm was very quick to repond to my PM and gave me some very usefufl advice. Not just the link to his 550 FPP. Thanks,

I've been thinking about a preventative maintenance program for my 575 assembly #56713. I had an everything service in Feb (fluids, filters, plugs, belts, HE tensioners) and the only extra my shop could find was a very minor hose leak now sorted. The Ferrari option doesn't seem to cover, for example, reconditioning of ancillary components so I'm currently scouring the forums here to build a list of what to do and a sensible order in which to tackle it so that I have something to talk to the shop about when I return for an annual.

The 575 is rather robust with many of the issues/weak spots on the 550 addressed quite nicely.
Issues that need to be also done but are not always include the F1 relay, gearbox flush, headlight gaskets, tail light bulbs, TPMS sensors. None are really 'big ticket' items in the vein of its older siblings.

I have never seen a 575 rear parking shoes redone/replaced with normal use.

In it's recent history mine has had headlight gaskets, front anti roll bar bushes and brackets, inlet manifold and lower plenum chamber gaskets, ignition coils, A/C Compressor rebuild, steering rack refurb, new water pump, gearbox flush and various pipework replaced. I'm not bothered by TPMS sensors since i use the battery cut off when parking up so would need to recalibrate each time I drive it. Mine has the 50A F1 relay so I hadn't planned to replace that but of course could.

Tail lights are a good call, thanks, and I have on my list an injector service and replacement/upgrade of all the plenum chamber coolant hoses at the next major. And with perfect timing a few days before a roadtrip, I now have the solid red dash light so adding an alarm siren to the list (it lasted 14 years).

You pretty much nailed all the major areas! I wish more owners were as thorough as you are.
