The pic in this article is not the car shown at Pebble Beach. This car doesn't appear to have any kind of top. But the rest of the car looks somewhat like the PB car. But if Ferrari is going to use the Super America name, this is going to really tick some old timers off. At PB, they had a SA on display, but they called the concept car a -- Berlinetta Convertible. Of course, some old timers didn't like that name because it is a contradiction in terms. Whatca gonna do? Dale BTW, it is amazing that no pictures of the PB car have ever surfaced, which is surprising because the rumor was that the car was sold to a customer in the bay area.
The article notes the pic is not the pic of the upcoming car and that the upcoming car will have a roof: "unlike its predecessor (see the 550 pic), sports a fancy new folding roof"
I hate to disagree but I'd like to see more of the old timey names attached to these cars. Superfast! Superamerica! California! It evokes something more than 365 GTC/4 ever could.
Since there are no pictures available, I sketched what I thought it might look like. The sketch is posted on the other "Ferrari Promises Topless 575" thread...
