WOW!!! I've never seen anything like that in ANY of my books. Do we know anything about its history? DM
Looks like Enzo may have been looking at the Porsches of the day for some inspiration, at least to me. Don't you see a hint of 356 in the front end? DM
The rear of the car doesn't really hint at that. But, it may have used the original wheelbase and perhaps the drivetrain? Either way, a stunning car, and one I hope you'll soon be adding to your collection. How the hell did you locate it? DM
Hey, that's not too far from me, maybe an hour and a half. I could swing by, get some pix, maybe give it a test drive for you and report back!!!!! DM
DAMN.... You found me out... I already had a buyer in place, for ............. ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!!!! Plus a healthy finder's fee for you. Guess I'll just have to google it and find it myself. DM
So........ It has finally seen the light of day, my oh my. This was Enzos personal car. He drove it from the bedroom to the bathroom every morning; sometimes he left it there. In the bathroom. It is very, very rare. Ralph L. has two of them. So do I. Few people know this, but that car won at Monaco. More specifically it won a Bingo game. Apart from needing new cam belts every three years and a new clutch if used in reverse, its as good as any F1 360. If it goes to auction Ill be bidding! My time.
So THIS was the inspiration for the latest to come out of Pininfarina. The 612 and 599 are a bit of a letdown as they don't quite resemble the prototype. Pity.
